THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Aishwarya Santhosh, daughter of actor Baiju, arrested and released for drunken driving, responded on the accident involving her father. Baiju, who was driving at high speed, hit a two-wheeler and crashed into an electric pole. There were reports that his daughter was with him at that time. She has denied this. She responded that it was not she but her father's cousin who was with him at the time of the accident.

'I was not with my father when the accident happened. My father’s cousin was with him. Fortunately, everyone is safe. I posted this to avoid misunderstanding,' she posted on Instagram.

The actor caused an accident last night at Vellayambalam junction in Thiruvananthapuram. Speeding towards Vellayambalam, he hit a two-wheeler at the junction and then crashed into an electric pole.

The accident happened when he tried to swerve his vehicle after seeing the barricade placed as part of road construction. The car first hit the post on the traffic island and then another post nearby. The museum police arrested the actor and released him on bail.

Meantime, the actor was angry with the private channel staff who reported the incident. 'What's the matter? If it is a vehicle, it will hit, what's wrong? Is that big news for you people? I am not afraid of all this,’ said Baiju.
