Pranab Jyothinath named new Chief Electoral Officer

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has issued an order appointing Pranab Jyothinath as the State Chief Electoral Officer. This appointment fills the vacancy left by Sanjay Kaul, who went on central deputation. Currently, Jyothinath serves as the Secretary of Sports and Youth Affairs. He was selected from the panel provided by the state and is a 2005 batch IAS officer who has also served as the District Collector of Kollam.
