13-year-old girl lured with job promise, kidnapped and sexually assaulted at gunpoint

AGRA: It has been alleged that a 13-year-old girl was kidnapped and sexually assaulted in a hotel room. The accused, a hotel owner's son, allegedly summoned the girl by offering her a job at his father's hotel and sexually assaulted her by threatening her with a gun. The incident took place in Agra on October 21. The police have registered a case under sections related to rape and kidnapping based on the complaint filed by the mother of the girl at Tajganj Police Station.

The hotel owner's son, Ragesh Rajput, had been communicating with the minor girl over the phone. He told her that he would offer her a job at his father's hotel if she became his friend. He then asked her to come and meet him at Maruti Chowk. Upon arriving at the location, the minor girl was taken into a hotel room. The accused allegedly threatened her with a gun, stating he would kill her if she didn't comply, and then subjected her to physical and sexual assault for around two hours. After recording the girl's statement, she was sent for a medical examination. The arrest of the accused has not been confirmed yet.
