The state government has come to the aid of a man who contributed money reserved for his son’s cancer treatment to the chief minister’s relief fund. Health Minister K K Shailaja said necessary steps to ensure the treatment of the baby will be taken and had spoken to Anaz, she informed via Facebook.

‘Will admit my son at the RCC again on Friday. My family are going through a tough time financially, the money I reserved for my son’s treatment are nothing when compared to those who lost everything in the floods. I decided to contribute the money including the contribution of two for my son’s treatment to the chief minister’s relief fund,” Anaz had informed via Facebook.

The minister in her Facebook post had asserted that it is not enough to appreciate the decisions of some men. She congratulated Anaz for his decision to send his son's money to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Anaz may have taken this act because he felt the suffering of others is greater than his own.

However it is necessary to continue the treatment of the child. Spoke to Anaz. Necessary steps to ensure the treatment of the baby at Regional Cancer Centre will be taken. I wish the baby a speedy recovery.
