Bachchan family to take legal action? clarification on Aishwarya-Abhishek divorce rumours

Rumours about the separation of Bollywood stars Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. Some reports had claimed that Abhishek's alleged romance with actress Nimrat Kaur had caused a rift in his marriage with Aishwarya. Now, a person who is close to the Bachchan family has responded to the reports.

"There is not even an iota of truth in these rumours. It's surprising that Nimrat Kaur hasn't refuted them yet. Abhishek is not responding to the rumours as he is going through various matters in life. He has been asked to stay away from all controversies," the person said.

"How did such rumours spread? Abhishek is not a person who would cheat on his wife. He is completely faithful to Aishwarya. Why should they suddenly drift apart when their marriage is going smoothly? Do not take the family's silence on the rumours as an opportunity. They are extremely upset about these rumours and are trying to find out who is behind them. Once they do, they will take legal action," he said.

Earlier, some reports had claimed that the Bachchan family had distanced itself from Aishwarya and that Aishwarya and her daughter had moved into a separate residence.
