PALAKKAD: Opposition leader V D Satheesan termed the Palakkad police raid as a balancing tactic from the government to save BJP from Kodakara case debacle. The leader also termed the late-night raid as the worst political drama ever in Kerala.

V D SATHEESAN:

“We are relieved that the CPM-led government didn’t try to implicate Rahul Mamkootathil in any marijuana case. The police who are working as slaves of CPM, pin back your ears. It was an unprecedented political drama and, curiously, the CPM obtained the CCTV visuals even before the police.

CPM Palakkad district secretary admitted to seeing all visuals first. Is he the SP of the police to have that privilege? The whole incident was a well-orchestrated drama from CPM to aid BJP.

Are CPM party bearers bringing their clothes in tomato baskets? It is normal for anyone to stack their dress in trolley bags. And who will have the audacity to do an illegal money transfer in a hotel where media and opposition party members are staying? This sole incident will ensure that the UDF majority doubles in Palakkad.”
