Napolean’s son Dhanoosh ties knot, actor turns emotional at wedding

Napoleon is familiar to the audience through many films including the hit Malayalam film Devaasuram. His elder son Dhanoosh got married the other day. The pictures and video of the function are coming out now. His son Dhanoosh has muscular dystrophy.

The lavish wedding was held in Japan according to Hindu customs. Wanting to see his son married and happy, Napoleon chose Akshaya from Moolakarapatti village in Tirunelveli district as his bride.

Dhanoosh, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, tied the thali around Akshaya's neck with the help of his mother. Napoleon turned emotional seeing his son tying the knot.
Many actors including Karthi, Sarathkumar, Radhika Sarathkumar, Meena, Khushbu, Suhasini attended the function in Japan. Actor Sivakarthikeyan blessed the couple through a video call.

Although the function was held in Japan, celebrations including haldi, mehndi and sangeeth were organized. There were dances performances by the actors at the function.

Dhanoosh was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy that prevented him from walking, at a very young age. Sought treatment through Siddha medicine. Napoleon moved to the US with his family.

Dhanoosh and Akshaya got engaged last July. Napoleon and his wife came to Tirunelveli and attended the function. As his son was not able to travel, he came through video call.
