KARUNAGAPPALLY: Anguish, languidness and the gruelling wait for good news were taking a toll on the family members in Kuzhithura 'Marakassery house' till Wednesday evening. However, fortunes changed soon and news reached about Aishwarya Anil being found at a retreat center in Thrissur.
At 2.30 pm on Wednesday, news reached family members about Aishwarya being found at Thrissur Muringur Divine Retreat Center. Aishwarya Anil (20) is the daughter of the Anil-Sheeja couple from Kollam. On 18th November, she went missing her phone was unreachable. She travelled from Karunagappally to Thrissur by train and bus and reached the retreat centre by the same evening. The missing information was shared on social media and was widely spread.
After seeing the post, Nikhil, a friend of Aishwarya’s cousin Vineeth, informed him about seeing her in the retreat centre in Thrissur. Vineeth immediately contacted the retreat center and confirmed the veracity of the news. Very soon, the parents were informed about the good news and there was a sigh of relief.
On the instructions of Karunagappally ACP Anjali Bhavana, Koratty Police Inspector Amrita Rangan reached the retreat center and took Aishwarya to safety. The police and Aishwarya’s parents are on their way to Thrissur. It is reported that the girl confessed to the police about getting scolded by her parents, which made her leave the house.
Aishwarya, preparing for the entrance examination, received a dressing down from her mother last day for spending time on mobile games. The next morning, Sheeja went to office in Chavara at 9.30 am and dialed Aishwarya at 10.30 but the call was left unanswered. Even neighbours couldn’t find her and soon, the missing was confirmed. A note found in her room informed her parents that she would not consider suicide as an option. Her mobile phone and tab went into switch-off mode by 11 am on the 18th. By evening, the parents complained to the police about the missing news.
Police later received CCTV visuals of Aishwarya going to the railway station on a scooter. Aishwarya's mother, while talking to the media said that the news was akin to resuscitating life.
