'Not many know dark truth behind Michelle case, just wait' , says scriptwriter Abhilash Pillai

Abhilash Pillai, the scriptwriter of ‘Anand Sreebala’ ruled out rumours that the film is a biopic of Michelle Shaji. According to Abhilash, neither he nor the director of the movie met with anyone related to the Michelle Shaji case. However, the writer admitted the influence the case had on his writing.

ABHILASH:

“The only time I talked with Michelle’s father was before the release of the movie. It was an icebreaking session. At that time, I asked him about Michelle and the evidence related to the case. The next day he appeared and told me some things. The talk elicited in me a curiosity in the case. Soon, we will all be able to know about the other side of the Michelle case, when the evidence gets submitted in court. The Anand Sreebala team will be very proud to witness such a moment.”

Anand Sreebala is a film that reunites Kavya Film Company and Ann Mega Media after the successful films 'Malikappuram' and '2018'.
