Actor Mansoor Ali Khan's son arrested in drug trafficking case

CHENNAI: Police have arrested Ali Khan Tughlaq, the son of renowned actor Mansoor Ali Khan, in a drug case. The Thirumangalam police in Chennai arrested Ali Khan Tughlaq based on information received from 10 college students, who were recently arrested in the drug case. The police recorded Tughlaq's arrest after questioning him for around 12 hours.

Last month, the police had arrested students of a private college in Mukkappar, Chennai, for selling drugs over the phone. Three days ago, 10 people were arrested in connection with the same case. The investigation revealed that the accused were purchasing ganja and methamphetamine from Andhra Pradesh and selling them to students in Chennai.

Further examination of the students' mobile phones revealed Tuglaq's phone number and other details, leading to his arrest. The police are conducting further investigation into the incident.
