Flower or fire? Watch theatre response of 'Pushpa-2: The Rule'

The much-awaited ‘Pushpa 2’ has hit the theatres. Apart from Mohanlal and Mammootty, Tamil actor Vijay tops the list of having a massive fan base in Kerala. If any other actor could fit into the list, it would be Allu Arjun. The craze for Allu in Kerala is inexplicable. With every year passing, the fandom is widening to a new realm. This frenzy during the release of Allu’s pan Indian ‘Pushpa-2’ in Kerala vindicates the fact.

Some fans in the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram came to the theatre impersonating Allu, as a tribute to the actor. Let’s dive into some audience responses for the movie on its first-day run.

• It is filled with cringe but it is a nice movie nevertheless.

• Not as good as the prequel.

• We came with great expectations. But this is comedy. We can’t help but laugh even in serious scenes.

• The only solace was Fahadh Faasil.

• Pushpa rocks. Fahadh’s role is incomplete in the movie. Let’s hope the makers give him some part in the third franchise.

• The first half was terrific. However, the second half turned into a serial. Ruined it.

• Allu Arjun did a terrific job. But after a certain point, his mass appeal waned and the makers changed track. It failed to create a chord with the public.

• If you loved Pushpa-1, then this sequel is not for you. Come with no expectation and there are chances that you may like it.
