Actor Siddique granted conditional bail in rape case, court asks him not to leave Kerala, deposit Rs one lakh

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor Siddique has been granted conditional bail in a rape case. He was granted bail on the conditions that he should not leave Kerala and that should deposit Rs 1 lakh as surety. The court directed that the accused should cooperate with the investigation and to appear when requested by the officials. The court directed that the accused should not meet the complainant or anyone related to the case and should not contact the complainant on the phone.


Actor Siddique's arrest, who appeared before the investigation team for questioning in the rape case, was recorded today. His arrest was recorded when he appeared before the Thiruvananthapuram Narcotics Cell Assistant Commissioner. The actor reached the Cantonment Police Station with his son Shaheen Siddique.


Siddique had earlier obtained anticipatory bail from the Supreme Court. The actor appeared at the Cantonment Station today as part of the bail conditions. Siddique will be produced before the magistrate after a medical examination to implement the condition that the arrest should be recorded and produced in the trial court and bail should be granted.
