Chandy Oommen expresses dissatisfaction towards leadership for not giving him any responsibility in Palakkad bypolls 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chandy Oommen MLA expressed publicly his dissatisfaction towards the party leadership. Chandy Oommen made public his discontent for not giving him any responsibility in the Palakkad by-election. He said that he thought not to say anything then. He also clarified that he is not saying much.

‘The situation in the party now is that some are kept away and only some are allowed to grow. The organization should move forward after holding people from the lower level. Here there is an approach of keeping away people. We should accept this truth and move forward after holding everyone together.

Everyone was given responsibility in the Palakkad by-election. I was not given anything and I don’t know the reason for that. I don’t want to discuss more about that. I went to Palakkad one day for campaigning. The leadership should keep everyone together and move forward. Youths should get representation in the party reorganization. I am not of the opinion that K Sudhakaran should step down from the post of KPCC President. It should not be discussed. Should take everyone together. '

Meantime, after the election victory, Rahul Mamkootathil had visited Oommen Chandy's grave in Puthupally. Chandy Oommen was not there at that time. Rahul Mamkootathil had said that when he called Chandy Oommen, he was not there.
