ADELAIDE: The five-match series in the Border Gavaskar Trophy is now level at 1-1. India won the first match and Australia won the second match by 10 wickets. The third match is at the Gabba on the 14th. Team India left Adelaide for Brisbane today. However, news has come out now that one player of the team did not leave with the others. Opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal did not get on the team bus along with other players. The team buses carrying the players were supposed to leave for the airport at 8.30 am today. Other players and team officials boarded the bus at 8.20 but Yashasvi Jaiswal was not seen anywhere.

Captain Rohit Sharma did not like the tardy behaviour of the young cricketer. After waiting for a while, Rohit boarded the bus after talking to the team manager and the liaison officer. At 8.50 the team bus left for the airport. Yashasvi Jaiswal reached only after five minutes. Jaiswal left for the airport with a security guard in a car. The flight to Brisbane was at 10.05.

Team India had won by 295 runs against Australia in Perth. The team won the first Test under the leadership of Jasprit Bumrah. In the second Test, India lost by 10 wickets in the pink ball Test at the Adelaide Oval. Cricket fans are excited that the next match will be at the Gabba, where India achieved a historic victory in 2021.
