Businessman Boby Chemmanur's arrest following the complaint of Honey Rose is the new 'happening topic' across Kerala. The actress also filed a complaint against activist Rahul Easwar for resorting to deplorable comments against her on television channel debates. Many people from the industry have already come in support of the actress. One among them was actress Gayathri Varsha. And now, film director Santhivila Dinesh has given his take on the issue while also differing from the opinion of Gayathri Varsha.
Santhivila Dinesh:
“Honey Rose shared posts on social media against Boby Chemmannur and Rahul Easwar. Maybe some efficient lawyer might have helped her prepare it. She came to inaugurate two of Boby's shops. By all margins, she might have, at the least, got Rs 50 lakhs from the two inauguration ceremonies alone. Honey Rose coming to an inauguration ceremony will ensure the place gets jam-packed in minutes. Honey has more acceptance even than Manju Warrier in Malayalam cinema. It is not because of her acting prowess, but maybe her smile or some other factors. The crowd at her inauguration events could even rival a similar event of a Bollywood actress.
Boby is a business magnate who started from scratch. He might not have presaged getting arrested in the case.
I saw Gayathri Varsha making a statement in a discussion that freedom of dress is mentioned in the Indian constitution. Is Gayathri not dressing appropriately while visiting certain places? She ridiculed Rahul Easwar saying that the latter would change his opinion if settled in a foreign country.
Let me ask, why should we inculcate foreign behaviour or culture? Take the case of Manju Warrier, be it any place, the actress always appears in modest dress and what fits her best. Will Honey Rose dare to visit Church in the same exotic dress for Sunday prayers? She will be thrown out if she decides to go ahead.”
