Saif Ali Khan attack case: Police detain two men resembling suspect, will be brought to Mumbai tomorrow

NEW DELHI: Two persons have been taken into police custody from Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in connection with the incident in which Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed at his residence in Mumbai. The police detained two people who bear a resemblance to the suspect captured in the CCTV footage. Both persons will be brought to Mumbai tomorrow for detailed questioning.

As part of the investigation, the police reviewed over 500 CCTV recordings. They had also released certain images and footage suspected to be of the attacker. Following this, two persons were taken into custody. However, the police have not confirmed if they are the actual suspects.

The investigation team is questioning the person detained in Madhya Pradesh. The other person was apprehended by the Railway Police from Durg in Chhattisgarh. The person who was questioned yesterday remains in police custody.
