Greeshma's reply when Sharon's brother asked her if he should approach her family with marriage proposal

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sharon’s brother Shimon said that he could not see even a trace of regret on the faces of Greeshma or her relatives during the time of the trial. He said that he had been in the court since the first day of the trial. Greeshma, her mother and uncle would be present in the court every day. Shimon said Greeshma's body language then was like a notorious criminal.

Ahead of Greeshma's engagement, Shimon had called Greeshma to know her decision. When he told her that they would come to her house with the marriage proposal, Greeshma said don’t do that now and if did that, her family is sure to shift her from the house. Greeshma informed Shimon that she would leave her house and come out with Sharon soon.

The two were not in talking terms after her engagement. Greeshma later came to Sharon expressing intimacy. Greeshma convinced Sharon that she would leave the house and come out with him in November 2022. Shimon said that Greeshma herself chose the thali (mangalsutra).

Greeshma awarded death penalty is in the Attakulangara Women's Jail. She is kept with murder and POCSO prisoners. Her convict number is 1/25. She has to wear jail dress. Greeshma, remanded was sent to a cell in another part after she was sentenced to death.
