Director Shafi in critical condition, on ventilator

KOCHI: Reports say director Shafi is in a critical condition. He is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kochi following internal bleeding. A media reported that the director is on ventilator.

The director was admitted in the hospital on January 16. The medical team is monitoring Shafi's health.

Shafi’s directorial debut was ‘One Man Show' released in 2001. He later directed many hit films like Thommanum Makkalum, Marykundoro Kunjadu, Mayavi and many others.
