Rs 18 lakh per episode, more followers than SRK on Instagram; 23-year-old serial actress calling the shots

Even artists, three or four movies old are finding it difficult to stay in the limelight in the highly demanding movie business. A hit movie alone won’t do wonders to help actors gain stardom if at all survive in the industry. Male artists are a step above, be it in terms of income or stardom. This is the case not only in the film industry but also in the web series and television industry.

Breaking the norms of remuneration criteria is television star Jannat Zubair Rahmani. This female sensation is earning far higher remuneration than her male counterparts. A sneak peek into her social media account would be enough for all to gauge the stardom she cultivated among Indians and foreigners alike. Jannat Zubair Rahmani has 49.7 million followers on Instagram. Even Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan with 46 million followers is behind her.

Born in 2001 in Mumbai, Jannat started her acting career in 2008 with Chand Ke Paar Chalo on NDTV Imagine. She further went on to work in Star One's medical romance Dill Mill Gayye, Imagine TV's Kashi – Ab Na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora and Colors TV's Phulwa in 2010 and 2011 respectively. She then played the role of Young Phool Kanwar in Bharat Ka Veer Putra–Maharana Pratap. It is reported that Jannat takes Rs 18 lakhs for every episode telecasted.

Jannat is also getting a good amount of income through social media posts. The star is getting close to two lakh rupees per post on Instagram. As per reports, the actor already has earned assets worth Rs 250 crore.
