Class 7 student abducted, forced to drink alcohol and beaten up in Pathanamthitta; father lodges complaint

PATHANAMTHITTA: A complaint has been filed alleging that a Class 7 student was abducted, forcefully made to drink alcohol, and brutally beaten up in Adoor. The father of the student has lodged a complaint with the police. According to the father, the boy was abducted around 9 PM last night. The child returned home exhausted and weak. He had difficulty standing and reportedly fell to the ground while returning.

After reaching home, the child informed the family about the incident. The child was immediately taken to the hospital. The complaint further states that the group that abducted the child was looking for his elder brother, a Plus One student. After failing to find the Plus One student, they allegedly abducted and beat the 12-year-old child. The police have launched an investigation based on the detailed statements from both the child and the father.

The police stated that more details would be revealed after further investigation. The child's sibling, a Plus One student, had previously been involved in a conflict with other students, which the principal had settled. The complaint also states that the child was abducted by the relatives of the opposing student.
