There are many stars who have acted as heroines alongside Malayalis' own Lalettan. Shari is one of the actresses who has many fans among them. Shari had won the state government's best actress award in her first Malayalam film itself. Shari acted in many Malayalam films after this. Now, the actress has opened up about some memories from the days she did the film 'Namukku Parkkan Munthirithoppukal', in which she acted as the heroine of Mohanlal.
The actress with Kannada roots said that she was afraid to act in Malayalam films because she did not know the language. The worry behind Shari's hesitation to come to Malayalam was the tension of how many retakes she would have to go through while acting. However, Padmarajan sir, the director of the film, was a very simple man, says the actress. Shari shared the incident when she acted in a romantic scene with Mohanlal.
"I acted in the romantic scenes with Lalettan without any feeling, and at that time, all I thought about was getting these scenes done as soon as possible," said Shari. "But even after all these years, when I see Mohanlal acting in that scene, I still get a feeling," says the actress. Shari added that she had watched the film several times during the lockdown, but she never got bored.
"I was invited to Padmarajan's film while I was acting in a Tamil film. At first, I was a little hesitant because I didn't know the language, but then I decided to go. When I first acted in Namukku Parkkan Munthirithoppukal, I was worried that I would get the dialogue wrong, that there would be a lot of retakes, and that other actors including Mohanlal would be in a bad mood because of my mistake," Shari said.
