Subjected Israeli men to sexual abuse; Hamas executed gay members, say reports

GAZA: Reports claim that Hamas has executed its own members who sexually abused Israeli prisoners. Secret documents from Hamas reveal that these individuals were brutally tortured before being killed.

The report states that the Israeli men who were imprisoned during the October 2023 attacks were subjected to sexual abuse by numerous Hamas members. It also mentions that Hamas maintained a list of members who engaged in homosexual acts, violating the group's so-called "moral code," and that these individuals faced severe consequences. This information was disclosed in a report by the New York Post.

Homosexuality is illegal in Gaza, and those convicted can face imprisonment or even execution. Hamas reportedly possessed a list of 94 members accused of engaging in such activities. The charges against them included participating in homosexual acts, engaging in conversations related to same-sex relationships, having unauthorized interactions with women, engaging in unnatural sexual relations, cursing God, and forming romantic relationships through Facebook. The report also mentions allegations of sexually abusing minors. However, Hamas has not officially stated the exact reason for executing its own members.

In 2016, Hamas had executed its commander Mahmoud Ishtiwi, accusing him of being homosexual. He was imprisoned and brutally tortured for a year before being shot dead by Hamas.
