Film-serial actor collapses and dies in Munnar

MUNNAR: A film and serial actor collapsed to death while returning from the CPM party's district conference in Munnar on Friday. Subramanian (57), a native of Ikka Nagar in Munnar, died in the incident. Despite rushing him to the hospital, his life could not be saved.

Subramanian, a former secretary of CPM in Ikka Nagar branch, has acted in movies including ‘Myna’, ‘Kazhugu’ and ‘Kumki’. He has also worked as a location manager for Malayalam and Tamil films.

Subramanian leaves behind his wife Parvathy, Children Vidya, Vivek and Daughter-in-law Karthik, and Abhirami.
