BHOPAL: In a tragic incident, a 23-year-old woman suffered a heart attack and died while dancing at a wedding celebration. The incident occurred at a resort in Vidisha district, Madhya Pradesh. The deceased, identified as Parineeta Jain, was a native of Indore. The incident took place on Saturday night. Parineeta had travelled to Vidisha to attend a relative’s wedding. During the Haldi ceremony, which was attended by around 200 guests, she collapsed while dancing and passed away. A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.
Parineeta was dancing to a Hindi song when she suddenly collapsed. Among the guests present was a doctor who provided first aid, but despite efforts, she could not be saved. Parineeta, an MBA graduate, lived with her parents in Tukoganj, Indore. Reports indicate that her younger brother had also passed away due to a heart attack at the age of 12.
Similar incidents of people collapsing and dying while dancing have been reported before. In a previous case, a 73-year-old man suffered a heart attack and died while dancing at an event in Indore. Additionally, in October last year, a 15-year-old boy from Agar Malwa district collapsed and died due to a heart attack while playing cricket.
