Software engineer held for sale of drugs in Technopark

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A young software engineer has been arrested for selling drugs inside Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram. The arrested is Mithun Murali, a data engineer of a leading company in Technopark. 32 grams of MDMA was seized from him.

He supplies drugs to only IT professionals in Technopark. The excise department was unable to arrest him because he did not supply the stuff to customers outside. However, Mithun Murali was under the surveillance of the investigation team.

The accused was engaged in the sale of drugs by renting a house near Technopark. He was arrested from Manvila. In addition to 32 grams of MDMA, Rs 75,000 and ganja packets were seized. Mithun brings MDMA to Thiruvananthapuram from Bengaluru.
