'I won't do kissing and intimate scenes'; Unni Mukundan says there are other ways to show love

Unni Mukundan is an actor who has earned the name of Malayalam's action hero after initially acting quiet characters and comedy roles. Now, the actor has revealed a change in his approach when acting in films. The actor has made it clear that his stance of not acting in kissing and intimate scenes will not change. He said that there are other ways to show love between two people.

"I follow the no kissing and no intimate scene policy in all films. Some people ask me to do such scenes, citing that others of my age act in such scenes. But I think there are other ways to show love and intimacy between two people. It doesn't require a kissing scene.

I want my films to be ones that can be watched by all sections of the audience. Isn't it possible to evoke the intensity of a fight scene in films without having to actually hit the other person? The same thing can happen in romantic scenes too. This is just my opinion. It's their choice if others decide to do intimate scenes. I don't need to comment on that," Unni Mukundan clarified. The actor opened up in an interview given to a media outlet in connection with the promotion of his latest film, 'Get Set Baby'.
