CHENNAI: Actor Bala has made an allegation that he was given the wrong medication after undergoing a liver transplant surgery. However, he did not specify who gave him the wrong medication. The actor made this revelation in an interview with the Tamil media outlet Galatta Media.

"Two years ago, there were reports that Bala had died. But here I am, introducing myself to you. After my surgery last year, I was given the wrong medication. I took that medication for a while without knowing about it. But I will not mention the name of the person who gave it to me. God saved me. After that, I spent ten days in the hospital. During that time, no one came to see me. I had tubes in both my arms during those days.

While I was in the hospital, news spread that I had died. They said I had only one hour left to live. The doctors decided to turn off the ventilator and asked my mother for permission. My internal organs had stopped functioning. Within half an hour, something happened to me. My brain, kidneys, and liver all stopped working. At that time, my mother was in Chennai. By then, the news of my death had already spread.

It was decided to conduct a post-mortem and bring my body out. There was a huge crowd outside the hospital. Managing them is not easy. Fortunately, a miracle happened and I came back to life. The whole world had prayed for me," Bala said.
