Hidden camera in girls’ hostel, owner arrested

HYDERABAD: The police arrested a hostel owner who captured the nudity of the girls residing in the hostel using a hidden camera. The incident took place in a private hostel in the Ameenpur area of Sangareddy district of Telangana. The arrested is B Maheshwar, the hostel owner. This is the first such incident to be reported in a hostel that has been operating for many years.

The hidden cameras were hidden inside a phone charger in a way that no one would suspect. The cameras were found during a check conducted by some suspicious residents the other day. The police were immediately informed. Initial examination revealed that there were visuals inside the camera. The charger has been sent for forensic examination. The police also suspect that someone else installed the cameras with the knowledge of Maheshwar.
