Three finals and two titles in four tournaments; Rohit Sharma is India's best white-ball captain

To be precise, India's title victory in the ODI format came after 12 years. India, which came close to winning the ODI World Cup held at home in 2023, fell to Australia in the final.

The next year, the 2023 ODI World Cup held in India was Rohit's second opportunity. India reached the final with ten consecutive wins. However, in his usual style, he silenced his doubters and critics by winning the title.
