Woman from UK sexually abused by youth she met on Instagram

NEW DELHI: Two youths have been arrested for sexually abusing a British citizen. The incident happened last Tuesday in Delhi’s Mahipalpur. The woman came to Delhi to meet the youth she befriended on social media. The woman arrived at the Indira Gandhi International Airport and booked a room at a hotel in Mahipalpur.

The youth identified as Kailash came to her room along with his friend Wasim. He came to her room and raped her that night. The woman then approached the Vasant Kunj police station and registered a complaint. The police have informed the British High Commission about the incident and they are assisting the UK national.

Kailash works at a private firm. She told police that he struggled to speak English and used Google Translate to communicate with her. The police have arrested Kailash and his friend for sexually abusing her.
