Son rapes bedridden mother; daughter files complaint

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A complaint has been filed against a 45-year-old man for raping his bedridden mother at their house in Pallikkal. The man sexually abused his 72-year-old mother in an inebriated condition. The Pallikkal police have registered a case on the complaint of the woman’s daughter. The police have taken him into custody.

The incident happened Sunday night at 7.30 pm. There was no one at home at the time of the incident. The complaint filed said she noticed the incident when she returned home. The woman has been admitted to the hospital.
