Mollywood’s biggest budget movie ‘Empuraan’ is all set to reach theatres on March 27th. The booking started at 9 am on Friday. As per reports, tickets are selling like hot cakes while most theatres in Kerala have already sold out the tickets for the first day. At one point today, even the ‘Book My Show’ application went down due to massive online traffic.
Considering the present situation, many people will be left disappointed and their long wait to watch the movie on its first day is unlikely to reach fruition.
As per reports, the movie will anyway amass Rs 50 crore in collection from the first day itself. Empuraan is the sequel to the blockbuster film Lucifer, which was released in 2019. The film will be released in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu languages.
The movie starring Mohanlal, will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor and Gokulam Gopalan under the banners 'Aashirvad Cinemas' and 'Gokulam Movies'. The story is written by Murali Gopi and the cinematography by Sujith Vasudev.
