'Magic of Empuraan'; Bengaluru college declares holiday on March 27th following 'L2E' release

‘Empuraan’ created the pre-sales booking history for any Indian cinema through 'Book My Show' website on Friday. The movie is set to hit screens on the 27th of this month and there is no bringing down the euphoria among fans. Due to the frenzy from fans over booking tickets, even the website crashed twice on Friday. This is unprecedented for any Malayalam movie.

And now, a college in Bengaluru has announced a holiday on March 27th on account of the movie’s release. The Good Shepherd Institution in Bengaluru made the unusual decision minding the craze for the movie among students and faculties.

The college announced the news on social media with the note, "The wait is over, get ready to see the magic of the master."

Earlier, a startup company in Kochi declared a holiday on March 27th minding the movie’s release. The news was viral all across social media.

Empuraan is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer. The film will be released in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. Mohanlal will be seen in the lead role of Qureshi-Abraam / Stephen Nedumpally.
