Accused to be produced in court escape from hands of police; search continues

THRISSUR: Two accused escaped after cheating the police at Wadakkancherry railway station. Two identified as Vineeth (Vadiwal Vineeth) of Edathua Laksham Veedu Colony and Rahul of Kollam, escaped from the hands of the cops escorting them from Alappuzha sub-jail to be produced in the Wadakkancherry court. They were travelling in the Venad Express.

The accused, when brought to produce at the Wadakkancherry police station, freed the handcuffs while getting down from the train. With this, they jumped onto the track through the opposite door of the train. Rahul was wearing a t-shirt and pants, and Vineeth a white shirt and pants.
