NEW DELHI: 'Kailasa' had come forward yesterday denying the death rumours of self-proclaimed godman Nithyananda. The godman has now directly responded to the issue. Nithyananda announced on his social media page at 4:30 in the morning that he is alive.
‘People are saying that I am dead and not. Now you all take a decision on whether I am dead or not,' taunted Nithyananda. The godman shared Ghibli Art, saying that he is with the trend. I will wake up at Brahma Muhurta. Will do yoga first, later Shiv pooja and after that will listen to the questions of the devotees and will reply them. That is how my life is moving, he said.
The news in connection with his death circulated yesterday. Sundareswaran, follower and nephew of Nithyananda, had announced that the Swami, who fought for the establishment of Sanatana Dharma, had sacrificed his life. Following this, 'Kailasa' shared a post on social media, saying that Nithyananda is completely healthy and safe.
Nithyananda was born at Tiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu. He rose to fame later through spirituality. He attracted a large number of devotees by claiming to have divine abilities. He has multiple ashrams in India and abroad. In 2010, an obscene video of Nithyananda with a film actress was released. Following this, Nithyananda embroiled in controversies left India in 2019. He left the country after the police-initiated arrest proceedings on the complaint of a couple of kidnapping their three children. He bought one of the islands near the Latin American country of Ecuador and named it 'Kailasa' and lived there with his followers. He also claimed to have founded a country called Kailasa.
