Instagram star policewoman arrested with narcotic drugs; accused of having affair with another woman's husband

CHANDIGARH: A lady police officer was caught with the narcotic drug heroin. Amandeep Kaur, a senior constable of the Punjab Police was caught in the joint operation by Police and Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF). More than 17 grams of heroin was seized from her. The policewoman was dismissed from service following the incident. Aman was caught during a vehicle check near the Badal flyover in Bathinda.

Amandeep Kaur was driving a Thar SUV. There was heroin inside the vehicle. The police and the Anti-Narcotics Task Force jointly conducted the check during the ongoing anti-drug drive, 'Yudh Nasheyan Virudh'. A man named Jaswant Singh was also in the vehicle with the policewoman. A woman named Gurmeet Kaur had also come forward with allegations that Amandeep Kaur was having an affair with her husband Balwinder Singh, an ambulance driver.

Aman is a person who has been in controversy even before the incident. The policewoman, who is a viral star on Instagram, has tens of thousands of followers. She was in the news earlier for repeatedly violating the state police chief's order not to film reels in police uniform. Gurmeet Kaur alleged through Facebook Live that Amandeep Kaur has a house worth Rs 2 crore, cars and watches worth lakhs. The woman had alleged that Amandeep was having an affair with her husband Balwinder Singh and that Amandeep was selling heroin jointly with Balwinder Singh.
