Vehicle crash with camel; expatriate Joseph Victor dies while undergoing treatment

MUSCAT: An expatriate who was undergoing treatment after his vehicle hit a camel has died. The deceased has been identified as Joseph Victor (37), a native of Thamarakkulam, Kollam. He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Muscat. Joseph Victor was working as a supervisor in the maintenance department at Ibri Applied Science.

Joseph's vehicle met with the accident on the night of March 26 while he was traveling with his family. The accident occurred before reaching Safa on the way from Ibri to Saudi Arabia. Those who were with him escaped with minor injuries. Joseph Victor, who was seriously injured in the accident, was first admitted to Ibri Hospital and later to a private hospital in Ghubra.
