MALAPPURAM: Actress Vincy Aloshious has alleged that her complaint, which was intended to be confidential, was leaked by Film Chamber Secretary Saji Nanthyattu. Vincy said she had no intention of publicly revealing the name of the actor or the film, and had mentioned this clearly in her complaint. However, she believes Saji used the complaint for his personal agenda and ended up deceiving her.

She also stated that she had submitted complaints to AMMA and the Producers' Association. "I'm now considering withdrawing my complaint from the Film Chamber, as it failed to maintain its confidentiality. Even with just five years of experience in the film industry, I had the sense to keep things confidential — something the people who leaked my complaint clearly lacked. Now, I feel a deep sense of regret for entrusting the complaint to someone so careless. It’s all turned out to be a really unpleasant experience. I’m also part of the film industry, right?" Vincy said.

"Saji Nanthyattu had earlier assured me that names would not be disclosed. Now I feel like someone who fell from the frying pan into the fire. I had refrained from revealing that actor's name as I believed that one person’s bad behaviour should not affect an entire film. I'm not going ahead with legal action," she said.

Vincy revealed that the film had an Internal Committee in place. When asked why she didn’t report the incident during the shoot, she said it happened towards the end of filming, which is why she didn't raise the issue at the time. "Everyone else on set had treated me well. When I eventually filed the complaint, the director issued a warning to the accused actor. It was another young actress who acted alongside me who got even more mentally disturbed by the actor’s inappropriate behaviour and left the set due to the distress. I had responded to the actor’s misconduct immediately. However, many newcomers may not have the courage to speak up like that," she said.

"I want the issue to be resolved within the film itself," she said, emphasizing that she stands firm in her decision not to work with those who use drugs. Vinci concluded by saying, “If the person I mentioned in the complaint changes his behaviour, I may consider acting with him again,” the actress added.
