Housewife found dead under mysterious circumstances in Thalassery; husband in custody

KANNUR: A housewife was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Thalassery’s Kuttimakkool. P. Sheena, a resident of Kuyyali in Thalassery, died in her rented home on Friday night. Her husband, Umesh, was taken into custody by police.

Sheena’s 12-year-old daughter first saw her lying unconscious and alerted neighbours. They, along with police, rushed Sheena to Thalassery General Hospital, where she was declared dead. Neighbours reported frequent arguments between Sheena and Umesh. Police are conducting a detailed investigation.
