Hybrid cannabis for movie directors; notice to friend of Shalif Mohammed, member of very wealthy family in Kochi

KOCHI: Information out that it was a youth from a very wealthy family in Kochi who introduced the middleman of hybrid cannabis to directors Khalid Rahman, Ashraf Hamza and his friend Shalif Mohammed. The excise investigation team has issued a notice to him to appear for questioning.

The man is suspected to be a link in the drug trafficking gang. He is a friend of Shalif Mohammed. He informed the excise that he only provided the middleman's phone number. The directors and Shalif Mohammed will be summoned by issuing a notice, following the questioning of the Kochi native.

Meanwhile, an excise notice has been issued to Sameer Thahir to appear for questioning in the hybrid cannabis case. He should appear at the assistant commissioner's office within seven days. The three were arrested when they were preparing to use cannabis in Sameer's flat.
