Firoz Chuttippara is a Malayali food vlogger with over eight million subscribers. This Palakkad native has become Kerala's favourite food vlogger by preparing a variety of dishes in large quantities. Firoz's videos of Monitor lizards and anacondas shot in various countries were a big hit. Firoz Chuttippara's YouTube channel 'Village Food Channel', which shows even animals that humans are afraid of and reluctant to eat, being served in large quantities, has a huge fan base. Now, Firoz has shared a video on his YouTube channel in which he goes to China and turns scorpions, which people are afraid even to touch, into a delicious dish.

Scorpions are large venomous arachnids. The venom is in their tails. Firoz and his team fried a species of scorpion that is found in Kerala as well. First, a large number of live scorpions are put in a bowl and washed. Then, the scorpions are fried in a large pan with oil. After this, finely chopped ginger and garlic, dried chillies and China grass are fried. Salt, masala powder, roasted chillies, ginger, garlic and China grass are mixed with the fried scorpion. The very tip of the Scorpion's tail should be cut off before eating. Firoz said that this should not be imitated in India.
