'There's threat to my life, if anything happens to me, those people will be responsible'; Seema Vineeth breaks down during Facebook live session

Trans woman Seema Vineeth stated during a Facebook live session that if anything were to happen to her, a few individuals from within her own community would be responsible.

Seema had previously spoken out against individuals who, after multiple marriages and having children, suddenly identify themselves as women and demand their children call them "mother." She had made it clear that she could not agree with such statements. Seema said she went live on Facebook in connection with this issue.

“I came across some voice notes that shocked me. They say things like — ‘We should go to her workplace and teach her a lesson,’ ‘We should go to her event in an auto and shout through a mic,’ ‘We should attack her house,’ ‘She should be beaten up,’ ‘We should go to her wedding and disrupt it.’ These people have created public groups to attack me like this.

I can’t bear this anymore. I stand by what I said — it was a personal opinion, and if someone wants to respond, they should do so through dialogue. But instead, they’ve created groups without my knowledge, added people to them, and are calling me a fraud, a thief, and a bad person. I’ve been working hard and living decently for the past ten to fifteen years. I’ve shared every detail of my life on social media. But I can’t take this anymore.

I live alone. I’m scared. There are people in the trans community who operate like goons. They’re not afraid to do anything. Many people have died by suicide, yet these people continue to harm others under the guise of 'saving' the community,” Seema said.

She also mentioned that she has filed a formal complaint regarding the threats.
