JAISALMER: A shooting of a Malayalam film, progressing in Jaisalmer, was brought to a halt minding the heavy shelling and drone attack along the border from Pakistan. The shooting of the film 'Half' directed by Samjad has been disrupted. The film's crew, consisting of 200 people, is still caught up in Jaisalmer.

Aishwarya, an actress in the movie, said that the whole crew is pondering returning to Kerala immediately, minding the worsening tensions at the border. The shooting was scheduled for 90 days. The actress said that the entire city went blackout the last day following the Pakistan drone attack.

'Half' is a film starring Ranjith Sajeev known for his films like Bulb and Golam. Aishwarya is currently popular in Kerala for her role in the movie ‘Officer on Duty’. Half is set to be the first big action movie in Malayalam, produced by Ann Sajeev and Sajeev under the banner of Fragrant Nature Films, which has given a handful of great films including the Blessy - Mohanlal classic ‘Pranayam’.
