Youngster falls into gorge in Kottapara viewpoint

IDUKKI: In a tragic incident, a youngster fell into a gorge in Kottapara viewpoint near Vannappuram on early Saturday morning. Samson (23), a native of Cheenkal City, was injured in the accident. The Thodupuzha Fire Force immediately reached the spot and carried out rescue operations.

Samson reached Kottapara with his friends this morning. He slipped on a rock and fell seventy feet down into the gorge. The youngster’s friends who were frightened for life immediately alerted the police about the incident. Samson is now undergoing treatment at a hospital in Thodupuzha.
