Actress and dancer Nayana Jose recently entered wedlock with dancer and model Gokul Kakarot in a ceremony that blended traditions from two faiths. The couple’s union, a love marriage, initially faced resistance from family members due to their differing religious backgrounds. However, Nayana's parents eventually gave their full support to the relationship, a decision that the actress had previously shared on social media.

The wedding ceremonies reflected the couple’s diverse cultural roots — the Christian ritual of madhuram veppu was held at Nayana’s residence, followed by a Hindu thali-tying ceremony conducted in an auditorium.

As a mark of their acceptance and blessing, Nayana’s parents presented their son-in-law with a brand-new luxury Mahindra car, reportedly worth several lakhs.
