Malayali actress Mamitha Baiju as Suriya's pair; 'Lucky Bhaskar' director's film 'Suriya 46' officially launched

Suriya's new heroine is Malayalam's favourite actress Mamitha Baiju. Mamitha will be the heroine of Suriya in the film that Telugu hitmaker Venky Atluri will direct after the superhit film Lucky Baskhar. The film, which is tentatively titled Suriya 46, has started shooting in Hyderabad. The film is produced by Sithara Enterprises. Raveena Tandon and Radhika Sarathkumar are the other main stars. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music and Nimish Ravi is handling the cinematography.

Mamitha was supposed to play the lead role in Vanangaan, which had Suriya in the lead. Later, after Suriya backed out, Mamitha also left the film. Later, Arun Vijay played the lead role in Vanangaan. Ridha played the role Mamitha was supposed to play.

Mamita's last release in Tamil was the film Rebel. The film starring G.V. Prakash Kumar failed at the box office. Mamitha's new films in Tamil are Jananayakan starring Vijay, Irandu Vaanam, where the Rakshasan team reunites, and Dude starring Pradeep Ranganathan.
