Thug Life, the much-anticipated film starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Mani Ratnam, is set to release on June 5. The film is a joint production by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, Red Giant Movies, R Mahendran and Siva Ananth. The ensemble cast includes Silambarasan, Joju George, Trisha, Abhirami, Aishwarya Leklshmi, Nassar, Ashok Selvan, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Jisshu Sengupta, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, and Vaiyapuri.
Recently, the second song from the film was released and received an overwhelmingly positive response. Following this, choreographer Roshni Nair shared a rehearsal video of the song on her Instagram page. The video features actress Trisha rehearsing the signature step from the song alongside the choreographer.
The video was captioned “Once in a lifetime experience,” but it quickly sparked a wave of criticism on social media directed at Trisha. Comments such as "Trisha is too old; they could have chosen someone else," "Trisha still doesn’t know how to dance," "She ruined a good dance step," "The choreographer dances better than Trisha," and "Was that the step? Trisha completely ruined it" are some of the criticisms circulating online.
