MADURAI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has come down heavily on the DMK government in Tamil Nadu. Amit Shah has alleged that the DMK government has crossed all limits of corruption during the last four years of rule. He was addressing a BJP rally in Madurai. Amit Shah also said that the BJP will form the government in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu in 2026.
"The DMK committed a huge corruption by handing over nutrition kits worth Rs 45 crore provided by the Central government to a private company. The poor were denied food. I have a long list of corruption committed by the Stalin government. 60 percent of their election promises have not been fulfilled. Tell the people how many of the promises made in your manifesto in the last elections have you fulfilled," Amit Shah challenged Stalin.
"The DMK government committed a sand mining scam worth Rs 4500 crore. The Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation scam caused a loss of Rs 39000 crore to the state exchequer, otherwise this money could have been used to build two additional rooms in every school in Tamil Nadu," Amit Shah said.
