Rana Daggubati, who rose to national fame with his powerful performance as the antagonist in SS Rajamouli's Baahubali franchise, has once again captured public attention—this time with a candid revelation about his health.
The actor had previously disclosed that he has lost vision in his right eye, a fact that came as a shock to many fans. Rana shared that he is completely blind in that eye and cannot see anything if his left eye is closed. In addition to this, he has also undergone a kidney transplant, which he has spoken about openly in the past.
As part of the promotional campaign for the second season of Netflix's Rana Naidu, the actor reflected on how he has come to terms with his health conditions, even managing to find moments of humor amid the challenges.
Recalling a light-hearted incident on set, Rana shared a conversation with co-star Arjun Rampal. "During a shoot, Arjun kept staring at me and asked if I was crying," Rana recounted with a smile. "I told him it was just water from my damaged eye. Even after I explained, he continued to ask if I was crying."
