KOCHI: The censor board has said that they will give permission if two changes are made to the controversial film 'Janaki vs State of Kerala'. The censor board informed this in the high court today. Justice N Nagaresh asked the makers of the film to say their opinion when the case is considered again in the afternoon.
One change is to add the initials of the character Janaki Vidyadharan, the full name, to the name in the film, making it 'V Janaki' or 'Janaki V'. The second change is to mute the mention of the name Janaki in the court scenes in the film. Earlier, the censor board had said that permission would be given if 96 changes were made. However, Abhinav Chandrachud, who appeared for the censor board, clarified that permission would be given if two changes were made.
